This weeks Clean Eating meal plan is a goody. It’s got a few regulars scattered through but also TWO new and delicious treat kind of recipes (this one and this one) that I tried and tested this past week. My kids went nuts for both. Which surprised me considering I used this ingredient instead of sugar.
And since I was cookin’ up a storm in the kitchen – I took the baking time to FINALLY clean out my pantry. It’s one of those jobs that gets ignored until I can’t bear to open the pantry door anymore. So I rolled up my sleeves and put on my big girl pants and did it. I’ve been a little inspired my Marie Kondo and redesigned the entire layout to be more practical. It is a lot more user friendly – its not pretty – but it works. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the post to see pics.

About the CEWK Meal Plans
- Sunday is my Meal Planning Day so I will work hard to regularly post my Meal plans on the Blog on Sunday night. You can read more about how I meal plan here.
- I pack lunches for the family Monday to Friday and use my Mix and Match Lunchbox Planner to make this a little easier (you can get it for Free here).
- I bake once or twice a week to keep stocked up on school lunchbox treats and after school snacks.
- I don’t exclude any particular food groups, but I do limit sugar (my take on sugar) and dairy when possible as my eldest daughter is lactose intolerant.
- I cook from scratch as much as I can but I do take a few shortcuts and try to keep prep time to a minimum (preferably under 30 minutes).
- My recipes start with whole, real food ingredients.
- We are a real family, so there are often family favorites that I cook again from week to week.
- I haven’t included links to all the weeks recipes on this page (because that would be a long, long post), but you can find all recipes on the Blog by typing in the search bar.

MONDAY
Spicy Tuna Wraps – Loving these Spicy Tuna Wraps from Gimme Delicious! If you want to skip the mayonnaise, you can use Greek yogurt instead – but make sure you eat immediately as they get a little soggy in the lunchbox if you use yogurt.

TUESDAY
Creamy Mushroom, Spinach and Garlic Pasta – Comfort food deluxe with this creamy, veggie packed pasta. I like to serve it with a simple Italian salad on the side. I used this recipe as a base and replaced the chicken with fried mushrooms and spinach.

WEDNESDAY
Ground Beef Curry – I love this recipe! It’s definitely one that finds it’s way onto the dinner menu quite often. Serve with a simple buttered Naan and the kids will love it!

MY PANTRY
As promised, here is a snapshot of what I’m doing in my pantry. I did warn you – it’s not pretty but it is AMAZING!! I can see everything I have in stock with a quick look. No digging behind boxes or lazy guesswork. No expired food or pantry moth issues either (‘coz that’s a thing at the moment).
I know what I’m running short on and I know what I need to use up. Its taken my meal planning skills up a notch or two.
It’s still a work in progress, but I think I’ve finally figured out what works for me.
It’s time to say goodbye to pretty baskets, polka dots and mismatched jars. Nope. Not going to win any pantry styling accolades but I’m good with that.
And yes – that one little box does contain chocolate. It’s my personal kryptonite.
I bought loads of these clear 2 liter containers. They seem to fit most of my ingredients and they keep the pantry moth out of my flour. Which is great because they are persistent little creatures that manage to find a way through every container I’ve purchased so far. I think that these pantry moth traps I bought last month have also helped keep the population down.
Now I just have to figure out a better system for my fridge….
