OK. You’ve created a product but now you want to sell it on your blog. The big question now is: How do you get paid? The quickest way to do this is to add a PayPal button to your blog. It’s not the best option, but it’s the quickest.
STEP 1 – GET THE HTML CODE FOR YOUR BUTTON
First you need to obtain the HTML code for your button. This can be done from the official PayPal website. It’s all free. You only pay a percentage (haven’t checked how much) once you make a sale.
STEP 2 – PASTE THE BUTTON CODE INTO YOUR POST
- Once you have the code for your button, log in to your WordPress admin area and go to Posts -> Add New.
- Switch from Visual to HTML and paste the code for your PayPal button there.
- Publish your post and you will see your PayPal button in it.

You can either create your own button and then add the link to your new button or use the standard Paypal button which looks like the one below:
ANOTHER (AND BETTER) OPTION
When I started blogging, I used the PayPal Buy Now Button for ages, but I found it to be a bit annoying. It was messy and I felt like it took Readers too far away from my blog.
After messing around with a few other software options, I finally discovered Shopify.
I LOVE Shopify!
My store is my favorite part of my blog. It’s where I make my money from blogging and I wish I had discovered it a year ago!
Shoppify is an all in one Store software that does everything you need to sell products on your website. It collects the money, delivers the product to my customer and has a ton if inbuilt marketing options to ramp up sales.
