French toast (Eggy bread)
Makes two slices of French toast, which serves 1 person in our family or two little kids. Double up as needed.
2 thick slices of 100% Whole grain / Rye or Whole grain bread
2 eggs (whisked)
Melt butter in pan .Put bread into egg mixture and turn until egg is soaked into both sides of the bread. Place eggy bread in pan and cook for around 1-1.5min or until side is golden brown. Turn and cook the other side. Serve immediately with sliced banana, drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
