Per the FTC regulations, this is a full explanation of how and when I am compensated on CleanEatingwithKids.com
CleanEatingwithKids.com began as simply a way documenting the clean eating recipes I created for my family as we started along the path of giving up processed foods. Over time, as our life went on, I began to write about more than just our food including our decision to move to the Country and our financial goal to get out of debt by spending less and saving more. I wrote a book ‘Clean Eating with Kids’ and started blogging more regularly.
A lot of what I do on CleanEatingwithKids.com is and always will be a labour of love. In order to keep all of my blog content free of charge, but still be able to pay all the costs associated with running an online business (hosting fees, domain name, blog design, my own time and that of those who help me), there are a couple of ways in which I am compensated.
MY OPINION AND MY INTEGRITY
Let’s start with this one. My integrity as a blogger and Mom is extremely important to me. I work really hard on the content I provide and I’m not prepared to lose my readers trust over a couple of dollars.
I will never promote something, even if I am offered compensation for that promotion, if I don’t feel it is worth of your time, energy, or money or mine.
If I tell you I like something, I mean it and I either use it myself or I want it.
If I tell you I own something or bought something, that is the truth.
PRODUCT REVIEWS / GUEST POSTS
As a general rule, I do not do paid product reviews. But this may change. Please check back, you will be the first to know when it does (AND I will make sure that you know when a review is paid for or not).
AFFILIATE MARKETING
A major source of revenue for Clean Eating with Kids are commissions I make off from sales or leads generated through affiliate linking.
Again, it is important for me to emphasize that I will never link to something just because it is an affiliate link. I’d rather you stayed on my site than clicked to go to another website.
I am extremely fussy over the affiliate links I include in my posts and try add them only where I know it will save you time and energy (eg link to recipe ingredients I have used or a useful resource that is relevant to my content).

ADVERTISING
You will see advertising pop up on my website from time to time. I may be compensated if users choose to click on these adverts. All our my adverts are managed by third party Ad Companies which you can find out all about here on my privacy policy.Â
THE CLEAN EATING WITH KIDS STORE
I love my store. It’s where I sell, promote or giveaway products which I have created or love. All prices are as shown and can change from time to time depending on promotions I may run. To find out more about my payment providers, store operations and data collection – take a look at my privacy policy here.
TO SUM UP HOW I MAKE MONEY ON THIS SITE
Just to be super, crystal clear, clicking on an affiliate link or an advert on my site or ordering a product will be earning me a commission & helping me keep this blog going.
