Ingredients
1CupRolled Oats
2CupsHot Water
1CupMilk
1tspVanilla extract
Cinnamon
BananasSliced

Instructions
Heat up a large pot on the stove
Stir together oats, milk, vanilla and water. Bring to the Boil. Turn down the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 5 - 10 minutes. The oats will thicken on cooking. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot
Serve in bowls with sliced bananas, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey
Notes
If you like your Oats to be a little less thick, then add more water or milk while cooking.I always limit my kids to a teaspoon of honey, because they are still kids, and if I didn't set a limit they would squeeze half the bottle in their oats while my back was turned.
