Ingredients
2 BananasOne very ripe, one less so for pan frying
1 cupMilkWhole, coconut or oat milk
1cupOatmealOrganic
Maple Syrup To serve
1tspButter For pan fried banana, or oil if dairy free
Instructions
In a blender, add the milk and 1 banana and blend until you have a smooth, lump free banana milk
Add this milk to a pan, add the oats and bring to a low simmer
Whip the oatmeal as it heats until the oatmeal is thickened. This takes around 4-5 minutes
While the oatmeal is thickening, in a small pan, heat the butter
Chop 1 banana into medium thick slices and pan fry in the butter. Turn after a couple of minutes in each side. Remove from the heat
Serve your oatmeal in bowls and top with the pan fried banana
