Ingredients
3tbspFlourI used white spelt flour
2tbspCocoa 100% pure
2tbspMaple syrupOr honey
1MediumEgg
1tbspOlive oil You can use vegetable oil if you have it
1tbspMilkDairy, Oat, Almond milk
½tspBaking powder
¼tspButterTo grease your mug
¼tspVanilla extract Optional
Instructions
Put the tiny bit of butter in your mug and microwave it for 15 seconds to melt the butter and then grease your mug well with it
In a large mug, add all the ingredients minus the milk and use a mini whisk to whip the cake batter into a smooth mixture
Add the milk to loosen the mix
Microwave mug cake for 2/2½ minutes depending on the strength of your microwave, until it's slightly firm when you press down on it
Allow the cake to cool before serving and be careful as the mug can get quite hot!
