Have a tub ready like one of these to put your ice cream into, as depending on the size of your blender, you may need to do this in batches – if it takes you 3 batches to get through the frozen banana, split the cocoa into 3 lots
Put your banana chunks into the blender. It can take a number of ‘blends’ to get to the ‘ice cream’ stage. Blend for 30 seconds or so and then scrape down the sides of the blender. Repeat this process until you have a consistency you’re happy with. Add your cocoa (remembering to add the cocoa divided by batches!)
Wizz in the blender again to fully mix the cocoa in and add to your storage tub
Repeat until all your bananas are done
Put your ice cream in the freezer for an hour or two to harden it up if you’re not eating it straight away
