Clean Eating Banana Berry and Mint Breakfast Smoothie (serves 2)
A what? Nana-Berry? Banana + Berries = Nana Berry. This is my kids nickname for our basic everyday smoothie. We change one ingredient at a time – this time it’s mint. But it could be oats, mixed nuts or coconut. Keeping it simple means we get an easy, tasty smoothie every time. Plus its so easy the kids can make it themselves.
Its almost too pretty to drink. Almost.
- 1 cup mixed berries (I use frozen berries)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- handful fresh mint leaves (about 1/4 cup)
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
