When I’m trying new recipes and in this case this smoothie, I test it on the kids. The real test is the fussy ones. If they like whenever I’ve made I hang onto it for dear life. This is one of those recipes: Fussy eater approved and asked for again. It must be good :)

Most of the smoothies I make for the kids breakfast contain bananas as a base. The more ripe they are, the sweeter your smoothie will be. So taste it before adding extra honey or sweetener.
I buy bananas in huge amounts. When they are on special, it’s like Christmas round here. I peel, chop and freeze them so that I always have them on hand for morning smoothies.
