I keep loads of frozen fruit in the freezer mostly for smoothies. It's much cheaper than buying fresh fruit and has all the same levels of nutrition anyway. Being frozen it helps cool the smoothie too, so it serves two purposes. I also add chia seeds to this to add some extra nutrition and also to thicken it up, and a little honey alongside a small banana for added sweetness.
A massive selling feature of this smoothie is it's so appealing for kids, being bright pink. Dress it up by adding a few raspberries on to and a sprinkling of chia seeds and you're good to go. Yummy :)

How To Make This Cherry Raspberry Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Raspberries Frozen
- 1 Cup Cherries Frozen
- 1 Small Banana
- ½ Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tsp of honey
- 10 Ice cubes About 1 cup
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients on high until smooth. This takes around 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
- NOTE: You can freeze the smoothie really well, just thaw and stir before drinking.
