Nothing sums up ‘Easy dinner idea’ like good Kid Friendly Sheet Pan Dinners.
You can cook your entire dinner in one go. Only one tray to wash and most sheet pan recipes literally take a few minutes to prep before popping in the oven and then …. wait for it … you walk away. The oven does all the work!
A good quality sheet pan is rarely a waste of money, I got this one as it’s big, and we use it all the time. Once you get into making sheet pan dinners and see how easy, delicious and time saving they are, it’s hard to go back :)
Kid Friendly Sheet Pan Dinners
To make my top 10 Sheet Pan Recipes List was not easy. The recipes themselves had to meet a couple of my {very} fussy requirements.
- They had to be made using whole food ingredients aka healthy
- The recipes must be easy to make with as little prep time as possible (10 – 15 minutes MAX). Because that’s the whole point.
- I wanted the complete all in one meal experience. No point if I had to cook veggies on the side. OK. Except rice. I’m prepared to make a pot of rice (only because my hubby bought me a rice maker. I was a bit skeptical about it at first, but I’m now a rice cooker convert – it’s awesome!)
- No complicated, hard to find ingredients. Coz my local shop only stocks the basics.
- Easy on the Budget.
- {Finally} and this is a biggie for me – they had to be family friendly.
